​About Norwood Swim Club
Norwood Swim Club is located in a quiet secluded area of Northern Bergen County. Easily accessible but off the beaten path, located behind Kennedy Field in Norwood, New Jersey. The club is a place to come relax and unwind with a book under our umbrellas or chat with friends while taking in the sights and sounds of summer. Of course, there is plenty to do out in the sun with the many activities available for all to enjoy.

Norwood Swim Club season starts for WEEKENDS ONLY on Memorial Day weekend. See Calendar page for full schedule.

Hours of operation:
Sunday and Monday 11 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Tuesday - Saturday 10 a.m.- 8 p.m.

Note: The swim club may close early when hosting swim or dive meets on select dates. Changes to our standard hours are always posted on our Calendar. See Calendar page for hours of operation and more info.

​Swim Lessons
Group swim lessons are included in your club membership. Lessons are scheduled in three sets, each running for two weeks, Tuesday - Friday.

Beginner I & Intermediate - 9 am - 9:35 am
Beginner II - 9:40 am - 10:15 am
Advanced beginner - 10:20 am - 10:55 am

Session dates & sign up available in Community Pass shortly after we open for the season.

Private lessons are available upon request for an additional fee. Please visit office to request private lessons with one of our swim instructors. 

Birthday Parties & Events
Members are welcome to schedule parties at the club on weekdays. No parties on weekends please. All parties must be scheduled with the office in advance. 

Guest fees:
Members may bring guests into the club subject to Guest Fee. Children under age 2 are free. 
  • Daily Guest Passes are ONLY available for purchase by current members. We do not sell non-member daily passes.
  • ​Guest Pass Fee - $15 weekdays, $20 Saturday & Sunday
  • A limited number of guest passes are available per day and must be purchased in advance via Community Pass.
  • No Guest Passes will be available for purchase at the front office.
  • No Guest Passes will be sold on Holidays such as Memorial Day, Father's Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day.
  • Guest Passes are date-specific and non-refundable. ​

All guests must sign in at time of arrival and are requested to wear a guest bracelet.  

Seniors living in Norwood can use the club for 1/2 the price of a Guest Fee Pass at any time. Norwood Seniors must be registered in Community Pass to receive a key fob and receive important club communications.

I just wanted to express my gratitude for the amazing season my family has had (thus far) this year at the pool.  

I know the vast majority of the folks who are in charge of events and such, are volunteers and on behalf of my family, I would like to thank each and every one of you!!  

To the guards: you all are hands down THE BEST guards I have ever seen at a pool in my 37 years on this planet -my hat’s off to you all, especially those of you who do swim lessons, or coach swim team & dive team.  

Concession stand workers-thanks for keeping us all well fed & for always making the best cheese fries!  

Front desk workers: Thank you for always greeting my family with a smile. 

The Managers: Thank you for making my children safety and the pool well maintained at all times. Thanks for setting up meets and taking them down.  I see how much work goes into these meets and I applaud you all for all your efforts.
